Setting the Calendar Availability to Available by Default

Control a listing's availability settings and determine whether the calendar should be available or blocked by default. Updates made apply from midnight after changes are made. Follow the instructions below to set the calendar availability to available by default.


If the listing is a multi-unit, this feature is managed via the multi-unit's main settings, rather than via a sub-unit's settings. The settings will automatically apply to all sub-units. Learn more.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Listings.
  3. Click the relevant listing.
  4. In the listing's menu, click Calendar.
  5. Under Availability Settings, select Edit.
  6. Under “Default Availability”, click the button for Available Always.
  7. Customize the fields if relevant.
  8. Click Save.


Changed your mind? Set the calendar as blocked by default. You can also set how much advance notice is needed ahead of the check-in date and determine how far into the future guests can make a reservation.
