You can block or unblock dates on a listing's calendar manually at any time. The selected dates will be blocked/unblocked across all booking channels.
Follow the instructions below.
Creating a manual block
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- If the listing is a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings or click a sub-unit.
- In the listing's left menu, click Calendar. Then, select Calendar.
- Click an available date on the calendar.
- Select a date range in the upper part of the right sidebar.
- Click Create manual block.
- Under the "Note" field, type the reason for blocking these dates.
We recommend making sure a reason for blocking dates is always provided. - Click Save.
Editing or removing a manual block
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- In the listing's left menu, click Calendar. Then, select Calendar.
- Click on the relevant block in the calendar, marked in a light gray color.
- In the right sidebar, select Edit manual block.
- You can click the textbox under "Note" to edit the note, or click Remove the manual block, and then Confirm, if you wish to remove the block from the calendar.
Tip:
- You can also manually block dates via the calendar.
- Instead of dragging the cursor, you can click a date on the relevant listing and select a date range across one or more nights in the upper part of the pop-up. You can use this method to block past dates; click on a future date and then change the date range manually in the pop-up window to a past date.
Note:
Are you using Smart Calendar Rules? Only confirmed reservations will automatically block dates on another listing. Dates blocked by actions as such Advanced Notice, Preparation Time, or Manual Blocks on one calendar will not block the other calendar.
