Tripadvisor: Guest messages don't appear in the Inbox

If you are not receiving messages in the Inbox from Tripadvisor guests, check that your Guesty integration email address has been entered in your Tripadvisor account. This enables communication to flow between Guesty and the connected channel. Follow the instructions below.

In Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Tripadvisor thumbnail.
  5. Next to the relevant account, click .

Note:

See the email address under "Custom Integration Email".

 

In Tripadvisor

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Tripadvisor account.
  2. Click the profile icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select Contact settings from the drop-down.
  4. In the Email address section, check that the "Inquiries and bookings" checkbox is selected.
  5. Check that the Guesty integration email address is in the field below it.

Note:

If the field is empty or a different email address is displayed, enter the integration email address. and click Save.
