Assigning and unassigning listings to a rate strategy

Once a rate strategy has been created, you can add rules that automatically set rate restrictions based on your needs and choose which listings these rules will apply to. A listing can only be applied to one rate strategy. If you change your mind and want to remove listings assigned to a rate strategy, you can unassign them. Learn more below.

Assigning listings to a rate strategy

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Revenue management and select Rate strategy.
  4. Select the relevant rate strategy.
  5. In the top-right, click Assign listings.
  6. Under Assign Listings, click Unassigned.
  7. Activate the checkboxes of the relevant listings.
  8. If relevant, click Override existing prices and minimum nights to replace any prices/minimum nights that have been set manually on each listing's calendar.
  9. Click Assign.

Note:

Are you assigning a multi-unit listing? Only the multi-unit's main listing will be displayed. The rules will automatically apply to all sub-units.

Unassigning listings to a rate strategy

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Revenue management and select Rate strategy.
  4. Select the relevant rate strategy.
  5. In the top-right, click Assign listings.
  6. Under Assign Listings, click Assigned.
  7. Deactivate the checkboxes of the relevant listings.
  8. Click Unassign.
  9. In the pop-up, click Yes, unassign.
