When using Guesty's rate strategy feature, your listings' pricing and minimum nights are updated in bulk based on the rules that you set up. If multiple rules are added to a rate strategy, it is likely that more than one minimum night rule will apply on the same date. When this occurs, the rules will be applied in a certain order. See the information below.
1. Optimizing occupancy
Where there are gaps in a listing's calendar, Guesty can automatically adjust the minimum nights to allow for shorter reservations. If the optimizing occupany rule has been activated, it will apply above any other minimum night rules that are set for the same date.
2. Rules for upcoming availability
If you have not activated the Optimizing Occupancy rule, but have added upcoming availability rules, these will apply above any other minimum night rules that are set for the same date.
3. All other minimum night rules
If neither of the above rules have been set up but you have created other rules, Guesty will apply the longest number of minimum nights that have been set for the same dates. For example, if both three nights and two nights minimum have been set for the same date, three nights would be applied.
