Use cleaning status automation to stay on top of your property's current status without having to ask your team for an update. For example, you can automatically change a listing's cleaning status after an Auto Task has been completed. Start by creating an Auto Task template. Follow the instructions below.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector, then select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- For a multi-unit, access the individual sub-units to update each one separately.
- In the listing's menu, click Tasks.
- If you haven't created tasks before, click Create a task template. Otherwise, click Add template.
- Fill in the relevant information. Under "Automation upon task completion", select the relevant option:
- Change property status to clean
- Change property status to "Waiting for inspection"
- Under "Message", select the relevant option:
- Add message to guest
- Add message to team member
- Enter the relevant information, then click Save.
- Click Save.
Step by step:

- Hover over the relevant listing in the left sidebar, then click the properties icon.
- In the listing's menu, click Tasks.
- If you haven't created tasks before, click Create a task template. Otherwise, click Add template.
- Fill in the relevant information. Under "Automation upon task completion", select the relevant option:
- Change property status to clean
- Change property status to "Waiting for inspection"
- Under "Message", select the relevant option:
- Add message to guest
- Add message to team member
- Enter the relevant information, then click Save.
- Click Save.

Once the template has been created, you can set up an automation.
