Changing a listing's cleaning status after an Auto Task is completed

Use cleaning status automation to stay on top of your property's current status without having to ask your team for an update. For example, you can automatically change a listing's cleaning status after an Auto Task has been completed. Start by creating an Auto Task template. Follow the instructions below.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector, then select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Tasks.
  6. If you haven't created tasks before, click Create a task template. Otherwise, click Add template
  7. Fill in the relevant information. Under "Automation upon task completion", select the relevant option:
    • Change property status to clean
    • Change property status to "Waiting for inspection"
  8. Under "Message", select the relevant option: 
    • Add message to guest
    • Add message to team member
  9. Enter the relevant information, then click Save.
  10. Click Save.

Tip:

Once the template has been created, you can set up an automation.
