Setting up default cleaning status automations for your account

Use cleaning status automations to stay on top of your property's current status without having to ask your team for an update.
You can set up default automations for your entire account, or set up specific automations for an individual listing.

Follow the instructions below to set up default automations to automatically apply to listings that use account settings.

Important:

For new accounts, the cleaning status settings below will be "on" by default.

Since we are still deploying our new dashboard, follow the instructions for "Legacy navigation" if your search bar is in a blue line above the top navigation bar.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Scroll down to "Cleaning status" field under the "Default preferences" section.
  5. Turn the relevant toggles on or off, and fill in any required information:
    • Mark property as dirty after check in
    • Display cleaning status in Multi-Calendar
    • Mark properties as dirty or unknown after selected period
  6. Once a change is made, it will automatically apply to all of your listings.
