An Expedia listing can be disconnected from Guesty through the Guesty dashboard. You may want to disconnect the listing if a mistake was made when it was linked to Guesty or if you want to change something in your setup.
Follow the instructions below to disconnect a listing according to its type. You can always link the listing again in future.
Disconnect a room
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Expedia thumbnail.
- To the right of the listing you want to disconnect from Guesty, click Connected.
- Click Disconnect.
Disconnect a complex
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Expedia thumbnail.
- At the top right, click Connect property.
- Paste the Expedia property ID into the text box.
- In the matching properties pop-up, click Disconnect under the Guesty complex listing.
- You also have the option to disconnect a single unit under the complex.
Important:
If the listing is not linked again after 24 hours, the Expedia room type will be automatically deactivated. If necessary, you will need to activate it manually in Expedia.
