Disconnecting an Expedia listing from Guesty

An Expedia listing can be disconnected from Guesty through the Guesty dashboard. You may want to disconnect the listing if a mistake was made when it was linked to Guesty or if you want to change something in your setup.
Follow the instructions below to disconnect a listing according to its type. You can always link the listing again in future. 

Disconnect a room

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Expedia thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the listing you want to disconnect from Guesty, click Connected.
  6. Click Disconnect.

Disconnect a complex

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Expedia thumbnail.
  5. At the top right, click Connect property.
  6. Paste the Expedia property ID into the text box.
  7. In the matching properties pop-up, click Disconnect under the Guesty complex listing.
    1. You also have the option to disconnect a single unit under the complex.

Important:

If the listing is not linked again after 24 hours, the Expedia room type will be automatically deactivated. If necessary, you will need to activate it manually in Expedia.
