Advanced Analytics: Replying to guest reviews

Advanced Analytics is a premium feature available to Pro users only. Contact us to discuss activating it.

Use Advanced Analytics to view in-depth analytical data of reviews that have been posted by guests. See data and reply to reviews for reservations received via the Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo direct connections. Follow the instructions below to submit a reply.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Analytics.
  4. Under "Dashboards" on the left, click Reviews.
  5. In the "Filters" sidebar on the right, add any relevant filters.

    We recommend setting the "Replied Review" filter as No and the "Review Overall Rating" filter as your chosen threshold, such as > 7.5. Learn how to save the set of filters for quick access.

  6. In the center panel, click the relevant item in the "Review ID" column.

    You can see which reservation in Guesty corresponds with each review as the guest's name is displayed in one of the columns. In addition, clicking an item in the "Reservation ID" column opens the reservation in Guesty.

  7. Scroll down to "Reply to the review".
  8. Enter your reply in the text box.
  9. Click Submit.

Replies can be submitted for reviews that contain text. For Airbnb reservations, you can reply within 30 days of the guest posting the review.
