Advanced Analytics is a premium feature. Contact us to discuss activating it.
There are different ways that revenue generated by reservations can be recognized when viewing certain dashboards in Advanced Analytics. See the options below. To change revenue recognition settings, click here for more information.
Note:
Up to three users can access Advanced Analytics per Guesty account. Unassigned users will gain access to Guesty's regular Analytics feature. Learn how to assign users.
Check-in Date
The reservation's revenue falls under the month that the guest checked in. For example, if a guest checked-in in June and checked-out in July, the entire revenue will be calculated as part of June's figures.
Check-out Date
The reservation's revenue falls under the month that the guest checked out. For example, if a guest checked-in in June and checked-out in July, the entire revenue will be calculated as part of July's figures.
Calendar Dates
The reservation's revenue is divided by calendar date. For example, if a guest checked-in in June and checked-out in July, the revenue will be divided across June and July, based on the nightly rates of each day in the booking.
Note:
Revenue is calculated based on the total Host Payout of "Confirmed" or "Canceled" reservations. With "Canceled" reservations, only the remaining amount after the cancellation is calculated. You can choose to calculate revenue based on Net Income, rather than the Host Payout. To arrange this, please contact us. Once changed, it will come into effect within 24 hours, and will also apply to historical data.
