When you create a listing, you set its base price and default minimum nights.
Minimum nights are the number of nights required to make a reservation. They are calculated based on the guest's chosen check-in date. The number of minimum nights for each date is seen next to the moon icon in the Multi Calendar and the Listing's Calendar. You can change the default minimum nights for a specific date or range of dates, superseding the default minimum nights.
Once you make to override, the changes will be updated in all connected booking channels.
Follow the instructions below to change a listing's minimum night for a specific amount of time.
Important:
- Are you overriding the minimum nights on a multi-unit listing? click here.
- Make sure the minimum number of nights you are setting isn't higher than the default maximum nights for the listing. Otherwise, the calendar will be unavailable for booking in your connected booking channels.
- Make sure the minimum number of nights you set adheres to the minimum night regulations of the connected booking channels. For example, some booking channels may only allow long-term stays in particular locations.
Overriding the listing's minimum nights via the Multi Calendar
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the Multi-Calendar icon.
- Click an available date on the calendar next to the relevant listing.
- Adjust the relevant date range in the upper part of the right sidebar.
- Click Override min nights or rates.
- Click the Override minimum nights checkbox, then edit the number of minimum nights.
- Click Save.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the Multi-Calendar icon
. - Click on a day in the calendar next to the relevant listing.
- Adjust the relevant date range in the upper part of the right sidebar.
- Click Override min nights or rates
- Click the Override minimum nights checkbox, then edit the number of minimum nights.
- Click Save.
Overriding the listing's minimum nights via the listing's calendar
Step by step
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
For multi-unit listings, you can access and edit the main settings. This way the change will automatically apply to its sub-units that are published under the multi-unit. Learn more. - In the listing's menu, click Calendar. Then, select Calendar.
- Click an available date on the calendar.
- Adjust the relevant date range in the upper part of the right sidebar.
- Click Override min nights or rates.
- Click the Override minimum nights checkbox, then edit the number of minimum nights.
- Click Save.

- In the listing's menu, click Calendar. Then, select Calendar.

- Click the Override minimum nights checkbox, then edit the number of minimum nights.
- Click Save.
