A multi-unit listing is a group of units that are similar or identical in size and appearance, that share the same booking terms. For example, an apartment block with five double rooms. Each unit is called a "sub-unit". Guesty makes it easy to manage all of the sub-units in one place.

Get started by creating a multi-unit listing in Guesty. When creating a multi-unit, you can choose whether to use existing Guesty listings as sub-units or create the sub-units as new.

Connecting with booking channels
Once a multi-unit listing has been created in Guesty, you can connect it with various booking channels.
Guesty's connection with Vrbo doesn't currently support multi-unit setups.
If a listing is set up as a multi-unit in Guesty, make sure to publish each individual sub-unit
to Vrbo as separate listings, rather than just publishing the main unit. Publishing each sub-unit separately ensures that the listing's availability is reflected correctly in Vrbo.
Guesty's connection with Expedia supports multi-unit listings. Make sure that the property is set as a multi-unit and that the details match on both Guesty and Expedia.
Other Booking Channels
Guesty's connections with all other booking channels don't support multi-unit setups. Each listing should be connected to the channels individually.
Editing a multi-unit listing
You can easily edit a multi-unit listing's content and settings in Guesty. All sub-units are grouped together, allowing you to edit these in bulk, where relevant. You can either make changes via the listing's main settings or via a sub-unit's settings individually, depending on the item you're editing. Learn more in the articles below.
Adding or removing sub-units
You can add extra sub-units to a multi-unit listing, either using existing Guesty listings or by creating the sub-units as new. Sub-units can also be removed from the listing if needed. See the articles below.

Choose whether reservations made at a multi-unit listing are assigned to one of its sub-units automatically, or whether you prefer to assign them manually. This is set up when creating a new multi-unit listing and your preferred option can be changed at any time via a multi-unit listing's settings. Learn more
When a reservation is received and there are no sub-units available for the relevant number of consecutive nights, it will remain unassigned. You can make room for this reservation by relocating other reservations
to different sub-units, and then assign it manually

If you assign your multi-unit reservations manually, or if there is no available space on the calendar for Guesty to automatically allocate them, you can assign them to the relevant sub-units via the Multi-Calendar.
An indication like this
will appear next to the relevant property in the Multi-Calendar. Clicking the indicator allows you to assign the reservations to sub-units. Learn more

Recognizing a multi-unit listing in the Multi-Calendar
Multi-unit properties and their sub-units are grouped together in the Guesty Multi-Calendar. In the listings panel on the left, click the downwards arrow to the right of the listing to reveal its sub-units. Each sub-unit's assigned reservations will be displayed on the calendar. Click the arrow again to collapse the list.
You can also expand or collapse the list of sub-units for all multi-units at once by clicking the arrow to the right of "Search listings":
The lists will remain expanded/collapsed, per your last setting, when you sign out of Guesty, leave the page or refresh it.
Changing nightly rates or minimum nights via the Multi-Calendar
Manually update a multi-unit property's nightly rates or minimum nights for a certain date/date range. The changes will automatically apply to all the property's sub-units. See the articles below or watch our video.
