Importing settings from an existing listing

There are two ways to copy your settings from an existing listing.
Follow the instructions below or watch our video.

Note:

If the listing is a multi-unit, the following actions can be taken via the multi-unit's main settings, rather than via a sub-unit's settings. Learn more.

Importing settings from a backup file

Since we are still deploying our new dashboard, follow the instructions for "Legacy navigation" if your search bar is in a blue line above the top navigation bar.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Settings.
  6. Under Export/Import click Import from a backup.
  7. Import the relevant file.

Importing settings from another listing

Important:

Any existing settings will be overwritten.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Settings.
  6. Under Export/Import click Import from a different listing.
  7. From the drop-down, select the relevant listing.
  8. Click Select.
  9. Tick the checkboxes for the settings you wish to import.
  10. Click Import.
