Setting a listing’s "booking window" (how early guests can make a reservation)

When setting a listing's calendar as available by default, you can choose how far into the future guests can make a reservation.

About booking windows

The booking windows capability is for you to set up how many days in advance a guest can book a reservation.

Once you set up your booking window's time frame, the booking window will come into effect from midnight after it is set.

By default, it will be supported in the listing's calendar for the following 24 months.
After that two-year period, calendar dates will be subject to the booking window policies of the relevant booking channel.

For example:
Let's say today you set a booking window of 4 days.

Any guest who tries to book a reservation over the next 24 months will always see that the next four days on the calendar are blocked.

Note:

Booking windows are updated in Airbnb as a calendar block.
For example, if you set a 90-day booking window in Guesty, the listing's calendar in Airbnb will be blocked accordingly — even though the listing's availability window in Airbnb still shows all future dates as available.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing. For a multi-unit, access the main settings, and the booking window will automatically apply to all sub-units.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Calendar.
  6. Under "Availability settings", click Edit.
  7. Under "Booking window", select a time frame from the drop-down. They correspond with all of the options Airbnb accepts.
  8. Click Save.

Tip:

You can also set a listing's calendar as blocked by default and set certain periods of calendar availability.
