Changing a listing's default check-in and check-out time

You can change a listing's default check-in and check-out times via the listing's page.

The listing's default check-in and check-out times reflect the listing's time zone, while the check-in and check-out times on the reservation page reflect your computer's time zone.  For example: a listing in Spain has a default check-in time of 4:00 PM. If you're located in New York, the check-in time in the reservation page will be shown as 10:00 AM. You can change your computer's time zone to match the listing's time zone.

In case a guest arrives later or leaves early, you can block the night before or after their reservations.

Airbnb users:

You can also set the listing's check-in start and end times. The check-in end time must be at least two hours after the check-in start time, and the check-in end time must be set as "Flexible".

Airbnb guests can contact the host and ask to choose their own check-in time. In this case, the check-in start and end times won't apply.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing. If the listing is a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings, and the change will apply to the sub-units automatically.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Pricing & Policies, and select Reservation policies from the drop-down.
  6. In the "Check-in and check-out policy" section, click Edit.
  7. Enter the relevant information.
  8. Click Save.
