Once you add an owner, start using Guesty's Accounting feature, and/or set up your Owners Portal website, you'll need to assign at least one listing to the owner.
You can either assign a listing via the owner's profile or assign an owner via the property listing's page.
Note:
Make sure that your listing is assigned a single owner before assigning it to a business model.
A listing that is assigned to a business model must be associated with exactly one owner.
You can assign an owner/listing in the Mobile App either via the owner's profile or the property's listing page (explained below).
Assigning a listing to an owner
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Owners.
- Click the relevant owner.
- In the Personal Information section, scroll down to "Properties".
- Click the text box to select a listing or begin typing its name.
- Click Save.
Assigning an owner to a listing
You can assign a listing to an owner directly from a listing's page.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- If the listing is a multi-unit, access the multi-unit listing's main settings or click a sub-unit.
- In the listing's menu, under "Details & Layout", click Property
- Click the edit button under the "Property Owners" field.
- Click Select Owner.
Make sure to create an owner first, if they aren't on the list. - Select an owner from the dropdown or begin typing their name.
Make sure the owner is in the field after typing their name.
