Activating or deactivating a listing's Auto Reviews feature

You can use Guesty's Auto Reviews feature to automate the process of posting guest reviews for your Airbnb reservations.

Once the Auto Review settings have been configured properly — meaning you’ve created at least one template and have activated the feature — the Auto Review feature will be applied to future reservations (yet to be created) and existing reservations (already confirmed, but have not checked in yet).

Activating or deactivating a listing's Auto Reviews feature

Follow the instructions below to activate or deactivate an Auto Review feature.

ֿStep by step:

Note:

If the listing is a multi-unit, Auto Reviews will be managed via the multi-unit's main settings, rather than via a sub-unit's settings.
In addition, ensure that sub-units are not connected with Airbnb as individual listings, as reviews are automated via the main listing.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, open the mode selector, and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Automation.
  6. From the drop-down, select Auto Reviews.
  7. Under Auto Reviews, turn on the Active toggle to activate it.
  8. Click Save.

Additional information

You can specify how long after check-out Guesty should post the review (setting the delay for posting an Auto Review).

  1. Enter the desired number of days next to "Delay (in days)".
The review will only be posted once that number of days passes after check-out.
  2. In addition, choose the number of stars to rate your guests next to "Rating to use".
For guests to be automatically reviewed, the Auto Reviews feature must be activated on each listing, and at least one template must be created.
