Editing an additional fee that was added to a reservation

Once an inventory of additional fees is set up in Guesty, a fee can be added automatically to new reservations based on booking channels or added manually to a specific reservation. Follow the instructions below to edit an additional fee that was added to a reservation manually.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Click the relevant reservation.
  5. At the top of the page, click Balance due / Payout.
  6. In the "Guest invoice" section, hover over the relevant fee and click the pencil icon to the right.
  7. In the pop-up, fill in the relevant information.
  8. Click Save.

Important

Additional fees that are manually added remain as non-canceled invoice items after a reservation is canceled.
