Add reservations from booking channels that are not connected to Guesty by creating reservations manually. These reservations will benefit from Guesty's features, such as task management and automation tools. Once the reservation is confirmed, the dates will be blocked on all connected booking channels.
Up until now, you were able to create a manual reservation through the main menu or the multi-calendar, but the main menu option is being removed gradually, so if you don't see the new reservation button in your dashboard when you follow the "main menu" instructions below, follow the "multi-calendar" instructions instead.
Main Menu
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top-right corner, click the plus icon.
- Click New reservation.
- From the drop-down above the check-in date, select a reservation status.
- Fill in the information, such as the check-in and check-out dates and the reservation source, and note the following:
- When selecting a source, the drop-down will present up to 50 sources, ordered from the newest source most recently added to the oldest. If you begin typing the name of the relevant source, those 50 options will narrow accordingly.
- If you leave the "Financials" section empty, the listing's default financial settings will apply. Since this is an extended stay listing, we recommend completing the financials section manually to reflect accurate pricing.
- Your tax settings will be applied to the reservation, regardless of the number entered in the "Guest tax" field.
- Contact us to change the reservation's source. For example, if you selected the wrong source.
- Click Save.
Multi-Calendar
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top menu, click Multi-calendar.
- Click and drag across the reservation's dates.
- At the bottom of the sidebar on the right, click +New reservation.
- Fill in the information in the sidebar, such as the guest's contact details and the reservation's status, and note the following:
- If this is a returning guest, click Existing guest and select the relevant guest from the drop-down.
- At the bottom of the sidebar, click Book reservation.
