Advanced Website: Customizing your site background

Customize your site background by selecting a color or image that matches your business theme. You can choose a custom background image from the photo gallery or upload your own images to create a unique design. Backgrounds can be customized per device.

Customize the background for all pages

Follow the steps below to set a consistent background across your entire website.

Step by step:

1. In the left panel, click Theme.
2. In the side menu, click Backgrounds.
3. Click Default background.

4. Click Color to select a color for the site background.

   Alternatively, click Image to upload an image.

Customize the background per page

Follow the steps below to apply unique backgrounds to specific pages on your site.

Step by step:

1. In the left panel, click Theme.
2. In the side menu, click Backgrounds.
3. Click Background per page.
4. Click Color to select a color for the site background.
5. Alternatively, click Image to upload an image.
6. To reset your page back to the default background color, click Reset to default background.

Editing content and widget backgrounds

Follow the instructions below to change the background of specific items, such as widgets and rows, that sit above the main site background.

Step by step:

1. Click the element or row.
2. Click the Style tab.
3. Select a background:
   1. Color
   2. Image: Click + to select an image. To create a background image slider for a row or column, click + and select multiple images from the image picker.
   3. Video: Click Select video or enter the URL in the field provided. File size are limited to 200MB.
4. Once a slider is created, you can adjust settings like slide transition style and speed from the row design menu.
