Viewing your Custom Field placeholder

You can use Custom Fields to add extra details to your listings and reservations. Each time you add a Custom Field, a placeholder like this {{wificode}} is created. Follow the instructions below to view your Custom Field placeholder.

Use Custom Field placeholders when sending messages in the Guesty Inbox or creating templates for Automated Messages.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Automations, then select Custom fields.
  4. At the top, click Reservations or Listings.

The placeholders are shown in the "Custom Variable Name" column.
