Changing an Airbnb Listing's Cancellation Policy

You can change an Airbnb listing's cancellation policy in Guesty. Follow the instructions below.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Listings.
  3. Click the relevant listing.
  4. In the listing's menu, click Pricing & Policies.
  5. Select Reservation policies from the drop-down.
  6. In the "Cancellation policy" section on the right, click Edit.
  7. Select the relevant policy (see descriptions below).
  8. Click Save.

Note:

For a multi-unit, the "Airbnb features" section will either appear in the listing's main settings or an individual sub-unit's settings, depending on how the listing is connected with Airbnb. Learn how to access the main settings vs. a sub-unit's settings.

Cancellation Policy Descriptions

The below Airbnb cancellation policies are synced with Guesty and can be selected. See more details from Airbnb here.

  • Flexible - 1 day before check-in
  • Moderate - 5 days before check-in
  • Firm - 7 days before check-in
  • Strict - 14 days before check-in
  • Super strict 30 - 30 days before check-in
  • Super strict 60 - 60 days before check-in

Tip:

You can add a non-refundable discount in addition to the listing’s cancellation policy.
