Connect with your audience and increase site engagement by using social media widgets. Follow the instructions below to add and customize widgets for platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp.

Share

Boost organic traffic and conversion rates by making it easy for visitors to share your site. The Share widget provides a smooth flow and attractive interface to help visitors spread the word.

Site visitors use this widget to share your site via Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email.

Note:

This widget allows visitors to share your site through their own social accounts. This does not connect to your site's social accounts. To connect your own accounts, see adding social icons.

Content editor Design editor

  1. Click the widget and select the Content tab.
  2. Enter a title for the widget in the "Title" field,  or click to hide it.
  3. Toggle on the relevant options.
Social share images not displaying

Follow the instructions below if you set up social share icons, but the image does not display on social networks when pasting the URL of your site.

The social network has already scraped information from the site URL and is caching the information for a certain amount of time. This will update eventually, but to work around the issue, ensure your social network images are updated correctly on your site:

  1. In the side panel of the editor, click  Settings, and then click Site Icons.
  2. Next to Social Networks Image (Open Graph), click + Image.

Alternatively, you can change the social network images by page:

    1. In the left panel, click SEO.
    2. Locate "Site’s Open Graph" and click Fix it.
    3. Next to "Social Image" click + Image.
    4. Select the required image and click Done.
  3. Open the Facebook and Instagram debuggers to copy the URL of your site and fetch the new information.

It may take some time for the cache to update with the new information.
