Updating Booking.com reservations in Guesty

Nearly all alterations to Booking.com reservations must be done directly on Booking.com. Once updated in Booking.com, the alteration will sync with Guesty and reflect in the Guesty dashboard. However, there are several types of alterations that can be updated in Guesty directly:
  1. Reservation date change (extending or shortening the stay).
  2. Reservation accommodation fare change.
  3. Reservations for linked and published listings, from after check-in up until check-out, including reporting a guest as a no-show.

You can make the above alterations to your Booking.com reservations in Guesty only under the following conditions:
  • If the listing is not collecting payments using “Payments by Booking.com”.
  • Only after check-in.
  • Reservations can be altered in Guesty only once every 24 hours.


  • If you changed the listing assigned to the reservation (Hotel ID or Room ID) on your Booking.com extranet, the change will not sync to Guesty.
  • You must update the reservation’s assigned listing on your own through the reservation page in Guesty. If you are having trouble doing so, contact us.
