Applying Additional Fees to Guesty Booking Engine Reservations

Once you create an inventory of additional fees for your account or an individual listing, you can choose which fees to apply by default to your Guesty Booking Engine. These fees will be visible to potential guests when confirming their reservation. If you have more than one Booking Engine set up, the fees will apply to all of them. Follow the instructions below to apply account-level or listing-level fees to your Booking Engine.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Financials.
  3. From the drop-down, select Financial Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the "Additional Fees" section.
  5. In the top-right corner of this section, click the pencil icon.
  6. If the relevant fee already exists, click the pencil icon to the right of it, otherwise click Add another fee to create it.
  7. Check Apply automatically to reservations from.
  8. From the drop-down next to "Manual sources", select website and Booking Engine. If you see multiple instances of "website" and "Booking Engine", select all of them.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Read the information in the pop-up, and click Save.
  11. In the top-right corner of the "Additional Fees" section, click Done.

Listing

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Listings.
  3. Click on the relevant listing.
  4. In the listing's menu, click Financials.
  5. Scroll down to the "Additional Fees" section.
  6. In the top-right corner of this section, click the pencil icon.
  7. If Use Account Settings is checked, uncheck it.
  8. Read the information in the pop-up, and click Save.
  9. If the relevant fee already exists, click the pencil icon to the right of it, otherwise click Add another fee to create it.
  10. Check Apply automatically to reservations from.
  11. From the drop-down next to "Manual sources", select website and Booking Engine. If you see multiple instances of "website" and "Booking Engine", select all of them.
  12. Click Save.
  13. Read the information in the pop-up, and click Save.
  14. In the top right corner of the "Additional Fees" section, click Done.
