Why Is There a Discrepancy Between Advanced Analytics and Reservation Reports?

If you are seeing a discrepancy between the Advanced Analytics (AA) Revenue Dashboard and the values displayed under Reservations, check that the following filter settings are the same in both place:
  • Date Range
  • Reservation Status: Confirmed, Cancelled, or both
  • Listing Status: Reservations Reports only includes active listings. AA defaults to include active and inactive listings, and must be filtered.

To update the Listing and Reservations filters in AA, follow the steps below.

Important:

Advanced Analytics always shows data in UTC. Discrepancies in the data shown in Advanced Analytics compared to Reservations Reports may be due to differences in the time zone. 

Filter AA Revenue by Active Listings

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Analytics.
  3. In the "Dashboard" menu to the left, click Revenue.
  4. In the "Filter" menu to the right, scroll down to "Listing Active".
  5. Under "Listing Active", click Include All.
  6. In the pop-up box, click the tickboxes to select "True" and de-select "False".
  7. Click OK.

Tip:

When the "Listing Active" section is collapsed, it should display "True" instead of "Include All".

Filter AA Revenue by Confirmed Reservations

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Analytics.
  3. In the "Dashboard" menu to the left, click Revenue.
  4. In the "Filter" menu to the right, scroll down to "Reservation Status".
  5. Under "Reservation Status", click Include All.
  6. In the pop-up box, click the tickboxes to select "Confirmed" and de-select "Cancelled".
  7. Click OK.

Tip:

When the Reservation Status section is collapsed, it should display "Confirmed" instead of "Include All".
