What happens to Auto Payments if the host payout changes?

When the host payout changes, it is important to consider where the change originates from:
  • If the booking channel sent an updated payout, Guesty will recalculate any pending Auto Payments and Authorization Holds accordingly.
  • Auto Payment rules cannot collect the payment for the additional fees for Vrbo. For Vrbo, the scheduled payments collect only the total payout synced to the channel.
  • If you updated the payout, Auto Payments and Authorization Holds will not recalculate and will be frozen as-is. As a result, any future changes that are received by the booking channel will not recalculate Auto Payments and you will need to update them manually.
