While Guesty can automatically generate owner statements for your account on a regular basis, you can also regenerate a statement manually. We recommend regenerating an owner statement if any change has been made to a particular month's statement after its generation date, which is usually on the first of the month.

See some examples below of changes that we believe require regenerating a statement, assuming the owner statement period is from September 1st to September 30th:

  • A change in the reservation folios, such as an extra charge or a partial refund, was made on Oct 5th, and the statement was generated on Oct 1st: You must regenerate the October owner statement to ensure it gets the reservation's new financials.
  • You added an owner charge for $500 on Oct 10th and dated it for Sep 17th: Even though this charge is not attached to a particular reservation, its effective date is in September and since that statement was already generated, you must regenerate the October owner statement.
