What Is the Difference Between an Automated Message and an Auto Response?

Automated messages are scheduled messages that you send proactively, to make sure guests get all the information they need from you and vice versa. They are sent to confirmed reservations only, regardless of whether or not the guest has contacted you yet.

Auto responses are delayed answers that you send reactively, only after a guest has sent you a query, to ensure it is not left unanswered. Auto Responses can be sent to reservations with any status.

Auto responses are only available for Airbnb connections.
