When you create a Check-In Form template, some fields can be hidden while others cannot, and some fields are mandatory for the guest while others are optional. Mandatory fields cannot be hidden. All other fields, when visible in the Check-In Form, are optional - the guest does not have to fill them out. See the information below.
Mandatory Fields
The fields below are mandatory for the guest to complete. As such, they cannot be hidden from the Check-In Form template:
- First name
- Last name
Fields That Cannot Be Hidden
The fields below cannot be hidden from the Check-In Form, but unlike mandatory fields, the guest does not have to fill them out:
- Reservation number
- Property (name, not address)
- Check-in (date)
- Check-out (date)
Fields That Can Be Hidden
All other fields can be hidden from the Check-In Form. When visible, the guest will not have to fill them out.
