Why are messages I sent to a guest not appearing in Guesty’s Inbox?

Messages that are sent from guests are received in Guesty's Inbox. However, messages you send to guests from a booking channel’s own platform, rather than through Guesty's Inbox, aren't displayed in Guesty. This is the case for all channels, except for Airbnb and Booking.com.


Messages between Airbnb and the Guesty Inbox or Booking.com and the Guesty Inbox will appear simultaneously only when Airbnb or Booking.com listings are active and connected to Guesty.

Messages sent from Guesty's Inbox will be displayed in both Guesty and the booking channel’s own platform. We recommend managing all communications in Guesty's Inbox.
