Configure a subdomain
A subdomain is a domain that is a part of another domain. It is an added prefix to the site's domain URL, to mark a separate section of your website.
For example:
www.test.com - Main website.
book.test.com- A site where visitors can book properties.
blog.test.com- A site where visitors can see your company blog.
In this case, book.test.com, and blog.test.com are subdomains for the www.test.com domain. Also, the root domain (or Value) is "www.test.com", while the first section before the root domain ( "book") is known as the host name.
Set up a subdomain
To set up a subdomain to point to your Booking Engine (Booking Website for Lite users), you need to retrieve your Booking Engine/Website domain, and then set up a CNAME record in your domain provider. For example, add the custom domain: "book.test.com" to your Booking Engine/Website domain: "www.test.com"
