Reservation changes or cancellations made in Expedia can be automatically synced with Guesty, depending on how the change/cancellation was initiated:
Synced automatically:
- Changes or cancellations made by you
- Changes or cancellations made by the guest
NOT synced automatically:
- Changes or cancellations made by the owner
- Reservations that are “reconciled” by you directly in Expedia Partner Central
In these cases, Expedia will not send a notification to Guesty. Please contact us to manually change or cancel the reservations in Guesty including a screenshot of the cancelled reservation in Expedia.

BETA users: Changes or cancellations made in Expedia by the owner will sync to Guesty, with no action required on your part.
