Is a reservation that is changed or canceled in Expedia automatically updated in Guesty?

 

Reservation changes or cancellations made in Expedia can be automatically synced with Guesty, depending on how the change/cancellation was initiated:

Synced automatically:

  • Changes or cancellations made by you
  • Changes or cancellations made by the guest

NOT synced automatically:

  • Changes or cancellations made by the owner
  • Reservations that are “reconciled” by you directly in Expedia Partner Central

In these cases, Expedia will not send a notification to Guesty. Please contact us to manually change or cancel the reservations in Guesty including a screenshot of the cancelled reservation in Expedia.

Note:

BETA users: Changes or cancellations made in Expedia by the owner will sync to Guesty, with no action required on your part.
