Is a reservation that is canceled in Expedia automatically canceled in Guesty?

An Expedia reservation cancellation initiated by the guest will auto-generate a cancel notification to Guesty. 

However, if the cancellation is made by the owner or you “reconcile” the reservation directly in Expedia Partner Central, Expedia will NOT send a cancellation notification on Guesty.

For beta users, a cancellation made by an owner will send a cancellation notification on Guesty and there is no need for further action in order to reconcile the reservation.

In this case, please contact us to manually cancel the reservations in Guesty including a screenshot of the cancelled reservation in Expedia.
