Why guests cannot see images included in messages sent to their Booking.com inbox?

Using HTML format, including adding images, is not supported when sending a message from the Guesty Inbox to the guest via the Booking.com inbox ("via Booking.com").
As a workaround, you can send a message with images directly to the guest's private email from the Guesty Inbox. See step-by-step instructions here to update the guest's primary email address.
Tip:
  • If the primary email of the guest is the proxy email provided by the booking channel, the message will be sent to the guest's Booking.com inbox.
  • If the primary address is the guest's private email, the message will be sent as a direct email.
