Connect Toast with Guesty
The Toast integration is powered by our connectivity partner, Omniboost. Follow the steps below to connect your accounts.
- Begin the connection process by requesting the integration from Toast. Follow the instructions in Omniboost's onboarding guide.
- Complete the initial setup in your Omniboost account.
- During the setup process, you will be prompted to enter your Guesty API key. Follow the steps in the section below to copy your API key from Guesty and paste it into your Omniboost account.
- In Omniboost, test and save the connection.
- Configure your PoS (Point of Sale) settings in Omniboost.
- Configure your PMS (Property Management System) settings in Omniboost. This includes:
- Filling in the "Receipt Description", which will be the description of the invoice item in Guesty.
- Mapping your locations (restaurants) to the relevant Guesty additional fee types.
- Testing the integration to ensure it's working correctly.
Important:
The API key is valid for 4 hours only. Copy the key only when you are ready to paste it into your Omniboost account.
Copy the Guesty API Token
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Integrations to open the dropdown menu. - Select Marketplace.
- Click the "Toast" thumbnail.
- At the top-right, click Connect.
- In the pop-up, click
to copy the API key. - Click OK.
