Checking if a payment was made via Stripe or recorded

Payments made via Stripe will have the following indicators in the "Payments" section of the reservation:
  • A payment method will be attached to the reservation: A credit card number will appear in the top-right corner of this section.
  • A payment method will be attached to the payment you want to track: The credit card that was charged will appear right next to the payment.
  • You will be able to track the payment: When you click the three dots to the right of the payment you are trying to track, you will be able to click "Show confirmation code", allowing you to track the payment in Stripe.
In contrast, payments that were recorded will have the following characteristics in the "Payments" section of the reservation:
  • No payment method will be attached to the reservation: The top-right corner of this section will read "Missing valid payment method".
  • No payment method will be attached to the payment you want to track: Instead, it will state one of the following:
    • Cash
    • Credit
    • Debit
    • eCheck
  • You will not be able to track the payment: When you click the three dots to the right of the payment you are trying to track, you will not be able to click "Show confirmation code".
