Cancelling a Recorded Payment

Payments collected outside of Guesty can be recorded to update the reservation balance. If a payment was recorded incorrectly or by mistake, you can cancel it. Follow the instructions below.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Reservations.
  3. Click the relevant reservation.
  4. Click Balance Due / Payout in the grey banner at the top of the page.
  5. Scroll down to the "Payments" section.
  6. On the relevant payment line, click Cancel payment.
  7. In the pop-up, click Yes, cancel payment.
The amount canceled will be automatically added to the reservation balance due.

If you are unable to complete the steps above, please contact us to cancel the payment.
