Can message automations be assigned to multi-units?

Multi-unit listings cannot be assigned specifically to a message automation, however you can assign sub-unit listings within the multi-unit listing to a message automation. Therefore, if an automation has not yet been assigned to a sub-unit, any automated message within the message automation will not be triggered.

A workaround is to add a tag to all properties - the multi-unit and sub-units. By adding the same tag to the automation, you will be able to assign message automations to multi-units.

Follow the instructions below to learn how to add a tag to a message automation.

Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Automations and select Messages from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the relevant workflow by clicking the three dots to the right, and click Edit
  5. Under "Select workflow conditions" in the sidebar on the right, click the dropdown menu next to "Properties".
  6. Select the option By rule.
  7. Select the relevant tag.
  8. Click Save.
