Can Workflows Be Assigned to Multi-Units?

Multi-unit listings cannot be assigned specifically to a workflow. Guesty users can only assign sub-unit listings within the multi-unit listing to a workflow. Therefore, if a workflow has not yet been assigned to a sub-unit, any auto message within the workflow will not be triggered.

A workaround is to add a tag to all properties- the multi-unit and sub-units. By adding the same tag to the workflow, you will then be able to assign workflows to multi-units.

Follow the instructions below to learn how to add a tag to a workflow.

Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Automations.
  3. Choose the relevant workflow by clicking the three dots to the right, and clicking edit
  4. Under "Select properties to include", fill in by rule.
  5. Select the relevant tag.
  6. Click Save.
