You can process credit card transactions in Guesty by connecting one or more payment processor accounts, such as Guesty's internal processor, GuestyPay, or an external processor such as Stripe, Merchant Warrior, or Hyp.
Your listings must be assigned to a payment processor in order for credit card transactions to be processed. If you connect multiple payment processing accounts to Guesty, we recommend choosing one to be your default payment processing account.
Read more about the different payment processors below to see which one is right for you.
GuestyPay is Guesty's internal payment processor and allows you to manage all payments within the Guesty platform. Currently, GuestyPay is supported in the United States.
Follow these instructions to create a GuestyPay account.
GuestyPay is currently available via OpenAPI with BE-API support coming soon.
Other payment processors
Merchant Warrior is an Australian-based payment processor that provides support during local hours, but it's supported outside Australia as well. See if it's supported where you have properties. Follow these instructions to connect your Merchant Warrior account to Guesty.
When switching your payment provider, be sure to make the required changes to your custom website or application. Each listing can only be assigned to one payment provider at a time. When using Guesty's APIs to handle bookings on your website or application, it's important to involve a web developer who can implement the required modifications. Failing to do so before switching payment providers can lead to problems with processing your payments.
