Creating a Booking.com account or connecting your existing Booking.com account to Guesty

Important:

Lite users: If you don't have a Booking.com account already, you'll first need to create one in Booking.com. If you have a Booking.com account, you can connect it while linking your listings to Guesty. Follow the steps in this article to prepare your Booking.com account and listings to be linked to Guesty.

Connecting your Booking.com account to Guesty is an easy and efficient way to manage your listings. You can connect multiple Booking.com accounts to your Guesty account!

Follow the instructions below to create a Booking.com account. If you have one already, see below how to connect an existing account to Guesty.

Creating a Booking.com account via Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Booking.com thumbnail.
  5. In the top-right corner, click Add account.
  6. In the pop-up, click Create account.
  7. Fill in the legal representative information and company information, and click Next.
  8. Enter the account nickname and click Submit.
  9. In the pop-up, review the information and click Got it!

Within a few minutes and up to several hours, you will receive an email from Booking.com with a link to sign a contract. You may receive an additional email requesting you to sign in to Booking.com. During the signing process, a LEID (Legal Entity Identifier) will automatically be created for your account.

Once the status of the account in Guesty updates from "Pending" to "Connected", you will be able to sync your listings between Guesty and Booking.com.

Connecting an existing Booking.com account

If you have an existing Booking.com account, follow the steps below to connect it to your Guesty account.

Note:

Learn here how you can connect another Booking.com account to Guesty, in case you already have a connected Booking.com account without LEID info.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Booking.com thumbnail.
  5. In the top-right corner, click Add account.
    • Make sure that at least one property is ready to be connected, and also that Guesty is set as the Connectivity Provider. Guesty will automatically approve the connection within an hour. Booking.com will send you an email once the connection is approved.
  6. In the pop-up, click Connect account.
  7. Enter the Booking.com Hotel ID: This ID should be associated with the LEID account you want to connect to Guesty. If you do not have a LEID in place, follow these instructions.
  8. Enter the account nickname: This name will be used internally, to help identify the account in Guesty.
  9. Enter the company name: The custom integration email will be based on the company name you enter, creating the proxy email address of the new integration.
  10. Click Add email to enter a forwarding email address, and then click Submit.
  11. In the pop-up, click Got It!

Once the status of the account in Guesty updates from "Pending" to "Connected", you will be able to sync your listings between Guesty and Booking.com.
