Who collects the security deposit from the guest?

As explained here, adding a security deposit to your listing in Guesty makes it visible on the booking channel, but the channel will not collect the funds for you. If your property is damaged, you will need to collect the deposit from the guest.

To help you collect the deposit, you can add a security deposit hold to the reservation, and then charge the payment method attached to the reservation to collect all or some of the deposit.
