If a message timestamp shows "N/A" instead of the sender's name, it is likely due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Airbnb and Booking.com reservations only: When a user other than the guest sends a message from Airbnb or Booking.com, it imports into Guesty. The sender shows as "N/A" because Guesty can't distinguish which user sent the message in the booking channel.
  2. Legacy Open API: When you send a message via Guesty’s legacy Open API, the sender shows as "N/A". Review the Guesty API documentation to learn how to migrate to the new Open API, which displays the sender's name. The message was sent successfully according to the timestamp.
