Why does my message show the sender as N/A?

If the timestamp for your message shows N/A instead of the sender's name, it is most likely due to one of the following reasons:

  1. For Airbnb reservations only: If a message (from anyone other than the guest) was sent from Airbnb, it is imported into Guesty. The sender will be set as N/A, as Guesty's system cannot distinguish which user sent the message in Airbnb.
  2. When a message is sent via Guesty’s legacy Open API it is set as N/A.
Learn more with Guesty's AP documentation about the new Open API, which will display the sender's name, and how to migrate.
Please be assured that the message was still sent according to the timestamp displayed. There is no action required in this instance.
