Updating owner statement settings

Guesty automatically creates owner statements with a summary of revenue, expenses, and payments related to an owner. You can update your owner statement settings to include attachments, and to exclude transactions with zero amount for the owner. Follow the instructions below.


Set up your business models and activate accounting to start using owner statements.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Accounting mode.
  3. Click Owner accounting, then select Owner statements.
  4. At the top right, click Owner statement settings.
  5. Turn the following toggles on/off based on your current needs:
    • Include attachments in the owner statement (files attached to journal entries will be included in the corresponding owner statements).
    • Exclude transactions with zero amount for the owner (transactions with zero amount for the owner will be excluded from the corresponding owner statements).
    • Include working capital breakdown
    • Show guest name (by default, the owner statement shows the reservation confirmation code).
  6. Click Save.
To regenerate one or more statements with the updated settings, follow the steps here.
