Updating Owner Statement Settings

Accounting by Guesty is a premium feature. Please contact us to discuss activating it.

Guesty automatically creates Owner Statements with a summary of revenue, expenses, and payments related to an owner. You can update your owner statement settings to include attachments, and to exclude transactions with zero amount for the owner. Follow the steps below.

Set up your Business Models and activate accounting to start using Owner Statements.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Financials.
  3. From the drop-down in the top-left corner, select Owner statements.
  4. At the top right, click Owner statement settings.
  5. Activate/Deactivate the toggle for following options as needed.
    • Include attachments in the owner statement
      • Files attached to Journal Entries will be included in the corresponding owner statements.
    • Exclude transactions with zero amount for the owner
      • Transactions with zero amount for the owner will be excluded from the corresponding owner statements.
    • Show guest name

      • Include the name of the guest instead of the reservation confirmation code.

  6. Click Save.
To regenerate one or more statements with the updated settings, follow the steps here.
