Copy the Guesty API Key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
- Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
- Search for "Folio" then click Connect.
- At the top right click Connect.
- In the pop-up, copy the Integration token.
- Click OK.
Important:
The API token is valid for 4 hours only, proceed to the below steps to connect the partner immediately.
Connect Folio With Guesty
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Folio account or click here to create an account.
- Click your name in the bottom left corner of the dashboard (on desktop) or the upper right hand corner (on mobile).
- Navigate to Integrations > Manage, find the Guesty tile, and click the Connect button.

Paste the Guesty API key copied in the steps above into the text box provided, then click Connect.
- Once you are connected, you’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page, and the button in the Guesty tile should say Connected. Now you are ready to import your property information!

- Create your Guesty pre-arrival messages in your communication workflows based on tags:
- For listings with the “Folio” tag - add the custom field “FOLIOGUIDEURL” to the message so your guests receive the listings' digital guidebook
- For listings without the “Folio” tag - use your regular communication workflow.
Tip:
Folio supports multi-unit listings. See here for more info on how to set the guides in Folio, under the "Support for multi-units" section.
