Adding an image to an Automated Message

In Guesty, Automated Messages are added to a Workflow.
Follow the instructions below to add an image to an Automated Message.


When you create or edit a message that is being sent via email, you can add images to it.

Remember, images are supported only for Automated Messages sent via email—not for platform or SMS messages.

Since we are still deploying our new dashboard, follow the instructions for "Legacy navigation" if your search bar is in a blue line above the top navigation bar.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Automations, then select Workflows.
  4. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the relevant Workflow, then select Edit.
  5. Click the Automated Message you'd like to edit.
  6. Make sure that all the relevant information in the fields is correct ("Name", "When the email should be sent?", etc.).
  7. Under the "How should the message be sent?" field, select Email.
  8. In the "Message Details" section, click the three dots at the top-right of the text box (located below +Add Variable).
  9. Click and add the image in one of the following ways:
    • Enter the source of an online storage site (i.e. Microsoft OneDrive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
    • Click UploadBrowse for an image > Select an image from your device.
  10. Click Done.
  11. Click Save.
    The image will be added to all scheduled messages for the relevant existing and future reservations.
