If you try to connect an Airbnb account to Guesty, but the account’s status is “Pending” for more than 24 hours, it may be caused by the following:
- One or more of Airbnb’s ground rules were violated.
- Airbnb requires you to verify your identity.
Check your notifications on the Airbnb extranet to see if any of your listings were flagged for violating Airbnb's rules or if you’re asked to verify your identity. If not, follow the instructions below to replace your Airbnb email address with a Guesty integration email. The change is expected to trigger an update of your account’s status.
1. In Guesty
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
- Click next to the relevant account.
- Copy the email address under “Custom Integration Email”.
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click your profile icon.
- Click My profile.
- Copy the email address under the "Email" field (appearing under "Contact Details").
2. In Airbnb
- Sign in to your Airbnb account.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account.
- Click Personal info.
- Next to Email Address, click Edit.
- Replace the email address with your Guesty integration email.
- Click Save.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account.
- Click Login & Security.
- If it shows, click Improve on the right side to verify the updated email address.
