An Airbnb account can be stuck in "Pending" status for one of the following reasons:
- Validation is required on the Airbnb extranet.
- One or more of Airbnb's rules were violated.
Check your notifications on the Airbnb extranet to see if any of your listings were flagged for violating Airbnb's rules or if any further validation is necessary.
If there are no notifications related to these issues, follow the steps below to trigger the account's status to "Connected". The status should change almost immediately.

1. In Airbnb
Change and verify your Airbnb email address.

- Sign in to your Airbnb account.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the drop-down, select Account.
- Click Personal info.
- Next to Email Address, click Edit.
- Replace the email address with your personal email or an email you can easily verify.
- Click Save.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the drop-down, select Account.
- Click Login & Security.
- If it shows, click Improve on the right side to verify.
2. In Guesty
Locate your Guesty integration email.
This is what enables the flow of communication between the booking channel's messaging platform and Guesty.
Follow the instructions below in Guesty.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
- Click the icon next to the relevant account.
The integration email can be found under Custom Integration Email.

- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click your profile icon.
- Click My profile.
- The integration email can be found under the "Email" field (under the "Contact Details" section).
3. In Airbnb
Replace your Airbnb email address with the integration email and verify once more.

- Sign in to your Airbnb account.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the drop-down, select Account.
- Click Personal info.
- Next to Email Address, click Edit.
- Replace the email address with your @user.guesty.com email address.
- Click Save.
- In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
- From the drop-down, select Account.
- Click Login & Security.
- If it shows, click Improve on the right side to verify.
